(x) General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Malaya (4/1868 R.J. Johnston.), very fine

Reece James Johnston was born on 5 January 1926 at Moree, New South Wales. He enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force at Sydney on 22 August 1944 and was posted to New Guinea with the 7th Movement and Transport organisation. Discharged in 1946, he enlisted in the Australian Regular Army at Adelaide on 25 February 1948 and posted to Eastern Command Provost Company from which he was discharged on 24 February 1954. Restless, he again enlisted in the Australian Regular Army on 23 August 1955 and was posted to the Army Provost Corps serving in Korea and Singapore, being finally discharged on 8 April 1958; sold together with copied research.
