[B.E.M.] London Gazette 20 December 1940. An award for work as an Assistant to a Bomb Disposal Officer during 1940. His award was promulgated on the same page as the awards of the George Cross to Lieutenant-Commander Ryan and Sub-Lieutenant Danckwerts.
