India General Service 1895-1908, 1 clasp, Relief of Chitral 1895 (2690 Pte F. Egan 1st Bn East Kent Regt), some scratching to the obverse otherwise very fine

Frederick Egan was born at Clerkenwell, London and was a labourer before he attested into the East Kent Regiment on 22 November 1888. He first served in India from 14 October 1890 -1 April 1895 and then served in Chitral from 2 April 1895 - 18 September 1895. From there he returned to India continuing his service from 19 September 1895 - 2 January 1897. Egan finally served at Home from 3 January 1897 until he was discharged on 21 November 1901.
