(x) Naval General Service 1793-1840, 1 clasp, St Domingo (Ewd Brown.), very fine

Edward Brown was entitled to the N.G.S.M., however there are three men of that name on the medal roll, none of which were entitled to the St Domingo clasp. Two Browns were entitled to the Syria clasp and one Brown was entitled to the Trafalgar clasp. Four Browns were awarded the N.G.S.M. with the St Domingo clasp, none of whom have the forename 'Edward'.
