David Mark Lewis was born at Sydney, New South Wales on 13 August 1960. Enlisting in the Royal Australian Navy at Sydney on 7 February 1978 he was discharged on 7 February 1990; sold together with copied research.

John Roy Norman Salthouse was born on 10 October 1925 at Melbourne, Australia. He was an insurance officer when he enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force as a Leading Aircraftsman 23 October 1943 and sent to flying school in Tasmania. He embarked for Canada under the Empire Air Training Scheme and qualified as a Pilot Officer on 29 March 1945 and posted to 42 Operational base unit at Port Moresby and later Bofu, Japan. He later transferred to the Royal Australian Navy as a naval pilot serving in Korea from 1951 to February 1952. He commanded 723 squadron from 18 February 1957, later qualifying as a Wessex helicopter pilot. He was discharged after an eventful career on 17 May 1968 and placed on the retired list on 9 October 1975. He is additionally entitled to the 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, War Medal, Australia Service Medal, Korea and UN Korea medals. John died on 8 December 1986 at Frankston, Victoria; sold together with copied research.
