(x) General Service 1962-2007, 2 clasps, Borneo, Malay Peninsula (54580 B. E. Nettleton), good very fine

Brian Edward Nettleton was born at Freemantle, Western Australia on 18 July 1940. A tractor driver he enlisted in the Citizen Military Forces on 21 July 1958 and was posted to Karrakatta for field training. Discharged from the C.M.F. he re-enlisted in the Australian army on 29 June 1962 being posted to the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment as a Rifleman seeing active service during the Indonesian confrontation. Promoted Corporal in 1966 he was posted to 1st Division Provost Company seeing active service in South Vietnam from 14 June 1967 until 5 February 1968. He was discharged from the army on 11 September 1968; sold together with copied research.
