James Robert Bodiewas born at Charlton, Kent and entered the war in France on 6 November 1914. He was killed in action on 9 May 1915 while serving with the 2nd Battalion and is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial in Belgium. He is entitled to a 1914 Star Trio.
