Richard William Law served in France with the 1st Royal Guernsey Light Infantry (No. 1779 & L/12209) as part of Draft 1, Reinforcement 4 and was invalided to hospital in England in February 1918 (Pair only). Transferred to The Queen's Regiment in January 1919, he then served with the unit in Waziristan (Medal & 2 clasps). His Medals were issued to him at 37 Kilday Road, Victoria Park, E9.
