India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, North West Frontier 1930-31 (363173. L.A.C. J. C. S. Lovegrove. R.A.F.), very fine

John Charles Sherwood Lovegrove was born at Horsham, Sussex in 1907 and by 1911 was living at The Buildings, Christs Hospital School, his father being in the local Constabulary. Having served in the Royal Air Force, he was made a Warrant Officer in May 1944 and died in January 1968.
