William Moss was born at Lewisham, Kent and enlisted in the Kings Shropshire Light Infantry as a 15-year-old boy on 28 January 1921. He was discharged on 27 January 1933; sold together with copied research and a silver 1st Battalion inter coy football medal (Bdsm W Moss).
