Afghanistan 1878-80, no clasp (B/131 Pte. W. Bruther. 66th Foot.), very fine

William Bruther crossed the Frontier in February 1880 with the 66th (Berkshire) Regiment of Foot and was noted as sick at Quetta by 1 September 1880. Present at Sibi, he then volunteered for the 2/14th Regiment of Foot (West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own)).
