(x) Duckinfield Independent Riflemen 1807 struck silver medal, 43mm, obverse features a soldier kneeling left and firing, ‘Duckinfield Independent Riflemen’ engraved, ‘Embodied July XVII MDCCCIV’ in exergue, reverse engraved within an oak wreath, ‘To Troopr Hurst for firing the best at the Target March 2d 1807’, with circumscription ‘Presented by Captain Francis Duckinfield Astley’, pierced for ring suspension, attempted erasure of ‘Troopr Hurst’, edge bruising, nearly very fine
