(x) Efficiency Medal, G.V.R., Territorial (6134248 Sjt. J.T. Delaney. 7-Lond. R.), court mounted for display, good very fine

John Thomas Delaney was born at Bethnal Green, London and worked as a carman prior to his attestion with the 26th Battalion Royal Fusiliers in London on 24 July 1919 when he was eighteen years of age. He served in the First World War and was discharged upon the termination of his period of engagement on 19 October 1921. However, Delaney must have found himself well-suited to the military as the following year he re-enlisted into the 7th Battalion London Regiment on 2 March 1922. His address given upon his discharge from the Royal Fusiliers was 32 Aske Street in Hoxton, London; sold together with copied research.
