Territorial Force Efficiency Medal, G.V.R. (925293 Gnr: A. G. Bauer. R.F.A.), official correction to last digit of Regiment, minor scratches, good very fine

Arthur Geoge Cyril Bauer was born at in 1895 at St. Pancras, London, and worked as a clerk before attesting with the 1st London Brigade Royal Field Artillery at age 17 on 4 September 1912. Bauer served in France during the First World War, first disembarking there on 3 October 1915. He returned to England on furlough for two weeks in early August 1918, returning to France on 13 August and not leaving again until 6 March 1919. His service also entitled him to a 1914-15 Star as well as a British War and Victory medal pair. Bauer was later disembodied upon demobilisation on 1 April 1919 and finally discharged on 31 March 1920. After the war, he is recorded to have lived at 36 Agincourt Road, Hampstead, London; sold together with copied service record.
