Note the recipient's 1914-15 Star is listed as returned.

Patrick O'Reilly entered the war at Gallipoli on 9 May 1915 with the 1st Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borders. He appears to have earned his Croix de Guerre and M.I.D. in that theatre. They later moved to France where he earned his M.M., The K.O.S.B. in the Great War by Captain Stair Gillons notes that he was awarded the bar for his service during the Battle of Lys; sold together with copied research.
