Lt. H. A. Lamb Calg. R. 24 May 1944; AC2 V. L. Colling R.C.A.F. 17 July 1941), good very fine (2)

Harry Alvin Lamb was born at London, Ontario in 1920 and served as a Lieutenant in the 14th Armoured Regiment, Calgary Regiment during the Second World War. He was killed in action on 24 May 1944 and is buried in the Cassino War Cemetery. Lamb was the husband of Nursing Sister Jean Mary (née Redpath) Lamb, whom he married at St. Mary Abbott's Parish at Kensington, Middlesex, England on 9 October 1943, while both were stationed overseas.

Vincent Lee Colling was born in 1921, a native of Port Robinson, Thorold, Ontario. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force (R/84438) and died of a of a strangulatec hernia on 17 July 1941.
