William Arthur George Bass served with No. 2 (India) Wing Station, Royal Air Force, based on the North West Frontier at Risalpur. He died on 9 September 1937 due to a rupture of his heart as a result of an accident. Bass was buried the following day and the Chaplain of Peshawar G. H. Lester-Garland officiated the ceremony. He is buried in the Garrison Church, Risalpur; sold with a copy of the entry of his death.
