(x) General Service 1918-62, 2 clasps, Palestine, Malaya (6975582 Sjt. J. Mulhern. Leic. R.), minor polishing, contact wear, very fine

J. Mulhern is listed as serving with the Royal Inniskilling and Royal Irish Fusiliers on 31 May 1932 when he was accused of breaking the law under Section 41 of the 1881 Army Act. He pleaded not guilty and was further found not guilty but appears to have left the unit, serving with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers in July 1945 when he joined the Leicstershire Regiment. Seeing extensive service with them Mulhern finally earned and L.S. & G.C. with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on 25 August 1948 as a Warrant Officer Class II; sold together with copied research.
