Canadian Memorial Cross, G.V.R. (195594 Pte. S. F. L. Egon.), very fine

Sidney Frederick Legon was the son of Mr and Mrs F. Legon of 182 Sophia Street, Peterboro', Ontario. He served with the 2nd Battalion, Canadian Infantry and was killed in action on 3 May 1917 and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial.
