Ernest Reason enlisted on 10 November 1914 and entered the war in France on 21 May 1915. He was discharged due to wounds on 7 May 1918.

William Percy Brindley was born at Tutbury, Staffordshire and enlisted at Burton-on-Trent. He was killed in action on 26 September 1917, serving with 2/5th Battalion, Staffordshire Regiment and is commemorated upon the Tyne Cot Memorial.
