Transport 1899-1902, 1 clasp, S. Africa 1899-1902 (F.L. Miller.), obverse rivet through claw slightly off centre, otherwise good very fine

F.L. Miller is confirmed on the roll as Supp. 2nd Officer, in the P&O troopship Assaye. The Assaye was one of three troopships built by P&O between 1899 and 1900, she had wide decks to enable troops to parade and exercise.
