Abyssinia 1867-68 (1291 Gunr. J. Lumsden G.14. R.A.), very fine

John Lumsden was born at Kennaway, Scotland in 1834 and enlisted in the Royal Artillery on 4 August 1855. His name appeared in the regimental defaulter's book on 15 occasions, however, he was never tried by court martial. He served five years each in India and China and seven years in Abyssinia and was discharged 21 September 1872; sold together with copied research.
