(x) India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Persia (2390 Corpl. M. Jones. 35 Bge. R.A.), neatly re-engraved in upright capitals, very light contact marks, otherwise good very fine

M. Jones appears on the medal roll with entitlement to an India General Service Medal with a clasp for Perak. He is not entitled to a clasp for Persia. Jones is reported to have received his medal on 28 October 1880; sold with copied medal roll.
