1918 (11 November) highly dramatic notice reading:

"The Armistice with Germany was signed at 5a.m. this morning.
Hostilities will cease upon the whole front at 11a.m. today.".

Typed on Buckingham Palace embossed thick card (c.192 x 245mm.) Small ink blot over date and on reverse otherwise fine, very visual and a remarkable item of importance.
