1971 Formal photograph of Sir John Weir (1879-1971), Scottish physician and homeopath who was Physician Royal to all monarchs from King George V to Queen Elizabeth II. His signature appeared on all notices of Royal illnesses and births. Signed on the mount, he is shown wearing the mantle and chain of the Royal Victoria Order. With various press cuttings on his death (14x20cm)
