Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother
1960-2002 Thirty five Christmas cards sent by the Queen Mother, with photographs of her and the Royal Family, commemorating milestone birthdays and events. Images include her racehorses, visits abroad (Canada, Venice), the Queen's Jubilee and her residences. The final card shows her at Walmer Castle. 28 of the cards are handsigned "from Elizabeth R", six have printed signatures in her last years and the card for 1966 is unsigned (as is the case that year). A comprehensive collection with seven gaps in the sequence. Each printed on thick cream card with a gilt embossed crown on the front (35)
