c1840 Pair of circular bone boxes with detachable lids, carved and decorated with scenes on St Helena relating to Napoleon's exile there.
The lids are superbly carved with a scene titled "Napoleon's Tomb", the base of one is titled "Napoleon's House", and each has island scenes around the box. A rare pair (3.5cm diameter x3cm)
