1813 Letter addressed to "His Excellency the Minister of War, Duke of Feltre at Paris", posted from Cambray, written by John William, giving a "statement of my being captured...on the 26th of April 1812, being off Plymouth Fishing in a small Fishing Boat belonging to the Said place was put on board the Spanish Ship Televero from Charleston bound, to Plymouth...and was sent to this Depot...have the goodness to take into your consideration the case of an unfortunate Fisherman aged 55 years with a distressed Family and give the necessary instructions for his return to his Native home"
