1983-2000 Large scrapbook kept by Lieutenant-Colonel Philip Creasy, Comptroller to the Prince and Princess of Wales, including invitations to royal and other events. Highlights are a 1983 signed photograph of Charles and Diana with baby Prince William, a black and white formal photograph of the Princess of Wales signed "Diana 1984", two Christmas cards inscribed "To you both" signed by Charles and Diana, six pages of letters and photographs relating to "Harvey", Prince Charles's labrador who was taken over by Colonel Creasy in 1984. Two memoranda to the Prince reporting on the dog's progress are annotated and initialled "C", letters from the veterinary surgeon are included with a typed letter signed from Prince Charles re "the sad news about dear old Harvey. He was a splendid character and when we were both a bit younger he made me laugh so much by his dotty antics!" Sandringham Harvey's Pedigree is included, born 1973, Name of Owner "Her Majesty The Queen". Royal menus, the State Visit of the President of Mexico (1985), Wimbledon and the Royal Box programmes, two further autograph notes from Prince Charles, press cuttings and garden party invitations make for a fascinating glimpse into Household life. All items are laid down on 55 pages (29x45x7cm)
