1906 Autograph letter signed, on mourning notepaper from Undershaw, Hindhead, Surrey, by the writer and creator of Sherlock Holmes.
"Dear Sir, I have no objection so long as you acknowledge in a footnote that it comes from "Songs of Action" published by Smith, Elder & Co", a volume with 28 poems written by Conan Doyle, first published in 1898. (Partly laid down on an album page )
