c1897 Original pen and wash sketch titled "Proposed Clock Tower at St George's Circus, London S.E.", with a superb design of the Clock Tower, its interior and the oil lamps intended to light the intersection at the first purpose built traffic junction in England. Designed by Jan F. Groll for the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897, it was demolished in the 1930s (49x65cm)
