Malta, Jean-Paul Lascaris Castellar (1636-1657), Tari, 1639, F. IO: PAVLVS. LASCARIS. CASTELLAR. M.M.H, shield, rev. NON. AES. SED. FIDES, clasped hands, dividing value and date, 1.92g [29.63grns], 11h (RS 73; Schembri 3), considerably worn even by copper Tari standards, only very good but all the details are clear, a scarcer variety with the obverse legend ending M.M.H; and Countermarked 4 Tari, 1646-1792, with several countermarks, 3.06g, residual design nearly all worn away, countermarks bold (2)
