IMMACVLATA CONCEPTIO DEIPARAE VIRG MARIAE | DOGMA DECLARATVR VI ID DEC MDCCC MDCCCLIV, Immaculate Madonna standing in front holds a flower in her right hand on a crescent moon and on the globe in the clouds she tramples on a snake, on the sides two angels offer her the sceptre and the crown, edge plain, 25.630g, 41mm, (Drentwett -; Lincoln –; BDM I, 615), some wispy hairlines to otherwise brilliant fields, with a pleasing cameo definition, much as struck, with contemporary case, in NGC holder, graded MS63 Deep Prooflike (Cert. #8534351-001)
