NGC AU55 | Germany, Prussia, Frederick II 'the Great' (1740-1786), 2-Friedrichs d'Or, 1776 A, Berlin, older laureate head right, rev. 1 7 7 6 above, crowned Eagle atop flags and trophies, edge obliquely milled, 13.31g, 12h (Olding 433; Kluge 110; Fb. 2410; KM 334), an exceptional example for this notoriously difficult 'One Year' issue, handsomely lustrous with an attractive cabinet honey-peel orange tone, almost extremely fine and extremely rare; the perfect compliment to a Semiquincentennial Global Type Set on the eve of 2026!, in NGC holder, graded AU55 (Cert. #8534345-004)
