1971 Views of Singapore and 1972 Contemporary Art artist's essays in enlarged format, inset in black mountboard, comprising 1971 35c. with hand-painted lettering "singapore 35c." applied on top of the image (2) - "Scene of Singapore River & Fort Canning" and "View of Singapore Waterfront" (150x105mm) (images later used for the 10c. and 20c. values), 35c. with hand-painted lettering applied above the image (2) "Scene of The Padang" (thinner lettering) (image later used on the 15c. value) and "View from Fort Canning", featuring the issued 35c. design, but with a modified caption (155x130mm); also 1972 30c., two unissued designs (70x114mm and 105x105mm) on the same mountboard, one being the artwork of Seah Kim Joo; climate related faults and foxing, mostly confined to the mountboard rather than the designs.
