1866 (5 Nov.) mourning envelope (minor tears at top) to Edinburgh, marked "Via Marseilles per French mail", bearing 1856 2a. orange, 8a. carmine and 1860 8p. purple, all crossed by framed "stamped" in blue and cancelled by "B/172" obliterator, showing red crayon "1/3", red London Paid transit c.d.s. (6.12) with, on reverse, "singapore/p.o." double-ring d.s. in red and arrival c.d.s.; stamps crossed by ironed out filing crease. A neat and most attractive tricolour franking. Photo
