1866 envelope from Singapore to Boston, USA, marked "p Delhi via Southampton", bearing 1865 8p. purple pair, 4a. green and 8a. carmine, all crossed by blue crayon strokes and cancelled with "B/172" obliterator, showing red crayon "1/1", manuscript "5", red London Paid transit d.s. (1.9), "boston br. pkt./5" arrival c.d.s. (11.9) with, on reverse, light "singapore/p.o." double-ring d.s. in red; the envelope with flap missing and some peripheral faults. A very scarce and attractive 13a.4p. three-colour franking. Photo
