1857 (23 Jan.) entire letter to Bordeaux, marked "Via Suez", bearing two single 4a. blue and red, Head II, Frame I, both cut to shape, cancelled by "C/1" in diamond of bars with "india paid" crescent h.s. alongside, red Suez transit (28 Feb.) below and manuscript "8"; Bordeaux c.d.s. on reverse (28 Feb. and 1 Mar.).
