1874 (5 Oct.) envelope to Milan marked "Italy via Brindisi" bearing vertical pair of 1863-71 8c. pale orange tied by two good strikes of the thick "Y1" in blue and showing unframed "P.D." in red, the reverse with a fine strike of Yokohama code "A" despatch c.d.s. in blue, Hong Kong (13.10), Brindisi (21.11) and arrival Milan (22.11) c.d.s.; fine and attractive. Pays the premium rate via Brindisi. Photo
