6d. ordinary paper overprinted "specimen" (Type 15), plate proof in black on thin white card, and shades of pale dull purple (6, 2 used), and slate-purple (6); chalk surfaced paper overprinted "specimen" (Type 17), pale dull purple (2), dark purple (8), and slate-purple (3) and block of four in very deep shade with Hendon Certificate (1998). Generally fine, one or two minor imperfections though a useful group. Spec. c.£2,500
