Bennett, district commandant; (3 Mar.) envelope to Montreal bearing G.B. 1d. lilac tied by Potchefstroom c.d.s. with local oval censor datestamp and faint Johannesburg censor handstamp, from trooper Barbor; (27 Feb.) envelope to Montreal (soiled) bearing 1d. lilac tied by Army Post Office Potchefstroom and sent from "Trumpeter W.B. Bouge, Depot Troops, 'A' Division...", unusual mail from a musician; (5 May) envelope to Ottawa bearing Transvaal K.E.VII 1d. tied by Pretoria c.d.s. with triangular Press Censor handstamp; (11 Oct.) incoming envelope from Winnipeg & Dauphin R.P.O. to Potchefstroom with manuscript "Not known C.S.A.R." and boxed "inconnu/unknown".
