1880 entire letter from the Postmaster at Colesburg to the Postmaster-General at Cape Town, marked "OHMS" and showing arrival datestamp (17.4). The contents of the letter proves that Colesberg was a clearing office and shows the number of letter newspapers that had been received via Phillipstown handled by the Colesberg Post Office in March 1879. It is interesting to note how few were from Griqualand West.
