1872 (24 Oct.) blue envelope registered to Prague, bearing 1d. (2) and 1/- (3) with circle of bars cancels and crossed by blue crayon "32 - G.P.O.", showing "du toits pan" oval d.s., circular-framed "pd", Cape Town (30.10) and London (10.12) transit registered datestamps, "6" and "1/1" red crayon and "50" green crayon markings with arrival datestamp on reverse; the envelope a little stained on reverse. A remarkable franking to a rare destination. A lovely showpiece. Photo
