1872 "Hidalgos"
Ciudad Victoria, Durango Group of 45 mostly used, imperforate stamps (five unused, one perforated) and four attractive covers. The stamps are neatly mounted on presentation pages (consignments 12 and 15) with different consignment years 1872–74, each in a row, with no duplication, including all denominations for Durango and 6c. to 50c. for Ciudad Victoria, as well as four stamps with "Papel Sellado" or "La Croix Frères" watermarks. The display of cancellations include Canatlán, Cuéncame, Gavilanes, Guanaceví, Durango, Nazas, Nombre de Dios, Papasquiaro, San Juan de Guadalupe, Tula de Tamaulipas, Camargo, and Palmillas (faults but very rare). Stamps are in very good condition overall, many with three or four clear margins. The covers are from Cuéncame, Durango, San Juan de Guadalupe (manuscript cancel), and Tula, all tying the stamps to the cover and being very fine.
