A very comprehensive 1844-Type barred numeral collection, hundreds of singles and c.50 in piece or entire including combinations with red Crosses, part green d.s., Scotts numerals with '131' on horizontal strip of five, '273' in dark bluish shade on horizontal strip of four, '1' in violet, Ballymoney '299' on entire, Irish including '216' with Eyrecourt town d.s. alongside, Derby '242' in shades of brown (2) on entire, London '1', '20', '21' in blue on entires and a variety of London offices in blue off cover (20) and a further range of national Offices off cover (50+), one on cover from Llanelly to Haverford West, '447' with and without serif, Russian Army Field Forces in Crimea Star and Crown on horizontal pair, 1854 (19 Aug.) entire from Kirby Lonsdale to Cartmel, the adhesive cancelled by '423' and '530', an additional two Scottish entires with a combination of numerals tying the adhesive, entire from Knutsford cancelled by '425' in brown, violet '29' of Micham, red '317'. Mixed condition though a wonderful specialised lot with plenty of scope for expansion
