GA, cut into at right, tied by Maltese Cross and Glenelg P.O. mail bag seal to 1844 (8 Jan.) entire letter from Dingwall to a "Merchant Plockton", re-addressed to "Killiree, by Lochalsh"; the reverse with Dingwall and Lochalsh d.s. Adhesive crossed by filing fold, some foxing and paper faults to reverse flap, nevertheless a most unusual usage.
