Plate 1: EH in pale shade, clear margins all round, tied by red Maltese Cross to 1840 (Oct.) entire letter from Manchester to Cheshire with boxed "Delph PyP" handstamp on face and Manchester 26.10.40 d.s. on reverse; Also Plate 2: IH in deeper shade, just touched at top left tied by black Maltese Cross to 1841 (29 Oct.) entire from London to Newport Pagnel. Mixed condition though a good pair
