Plate 1b: IE cancelled by red Maltese Cross and affixed to envelope from Plymouth to Exmouth, the face with boxed "No. 3" handstamp, the reverse with Plymouth 1840 dated Penny Post d.s.; Plate 6: BK tied by red Maltese Cross to 1840 (Aug.) entire from London to the Grand Lodge, Bath; BI tied by red Maltese Cross to 1841 (Feb.) envelope from Leith to Greenock; and Plate 8: AL tied by red Maltese Cross to 1840 (oct.) envelope to Bath. All with clear margins (BI a little tight) ranging from good to fine.
