JJ, recut side lines, large to huge margins, tied by upright black Greenock distinctive Maltese Cross to entire letter to London dated 8 April 1841, on reverse red boxed "TOO=LATE" (only recorded in black in Auckland) and arrival (10.4); vertical filing fold well clear of the adhesive. Fine and a new discovery, predating the earliest recorded use of the distinctive Maltese Cross by Rockoff and Jackson. Photo
