IF-IG (just joined at top) and JE-JF horizontal pairs in a deep shade, good to very large margins all round, tied by light strikes of a watery red Maltese Cross to a part cover dated 1840 (29 May), the flap bearing Glasgow despatch c.d.s. and Edinburgh transit c.d.s. The piece with folding creases but the adhesives are fine. An unusual May date piece. Photo
